I have received the information below which may be of interest to you:
Good morning,
#TellTracy about Policing and Crime – New Police and Crime Plan Consultation 2024-2028
The Mayor’s consultation on her second Police and Crime Plan has begun. Individuals and organisations are being invited to share the policing issues that matter most to them. Our Consultation and Engagement team have been out and about across West Yorkshire, speaking to members of the public to gather their views.
The new Plan will set out the policing priorities and the direction of West Yorkshire Police over the next four years, so it’s vital we hear from everyone. The consultation will run until 31 October, but we welcome input as soon as you are able to provide it.
All details about how local organisations and residents can get involved are available on our website here. We are particularly asking Councillors to share with your networks our survey for organisations (open until 10 October) and our survey for individuals (open until 31 October), which can both be accessed here.
We welcome your feedback via the surveys above, and really appreciate any support you can give to share them more widely; we are keen to reach as many organisations and people as we can and want to ensure that the diverse views of Leeds are fully represented.
Kind regards,
Strategic Partnerships Manager, Policing and Crime
