Following representations made on behalf of residents I am pleased that Highways have now advised that the work scheduled for Pool Bank New Road has been postponed whilst the issue with Kex Gill is resolved:
"For information the works have been postponed for a short while due to the emergency landslip Kex Gill diversion that is signed up/down pool bank. We are awaiting an update from North Yorkshire regarding a more precise end date. However, these works are essential given the current state of the sewer/chambers in the area.
We have also postponed all other planned works in the area to allow the sewer works to go ahead so I don’t want to delay this for much longer and have Yorkshire Water lose their window of opportunity."
