"North Yorkshire Council have released a statement today ( see attached) that gives the details for an upcoming road closure of the A59 Kex Gill so that land stabilising and resurfacing works can be carried out.
The road closure will come into effect on the 9th October and will remain in place for 5 weeks.
There will be signed diversion route in place and it has been agreed that this will include part of the Leeds network.
I have attached a plan showing this particular section of the route in yellow which runs along the A65 /A660 from Ben Rhydding onto the Otley by pass – A660 Leeds Road up to the Dyneley Arms junction – Pool Bank New Road – Main Street Pool - Pool Bridge and vice versa."
