The Council’s garden waste (brown bin) collection service for 2022 will start week commencing 14th March.
We have updated the council “check your bin day” page. The best way for residents to keep up to date and to automatically receive reminders about all their bin days is to download the popular Leeds Bins app.
Discounted composting bins for Leeds’ residents can be obtained from local suppliers Great Green Systems: https://www.greatgreensystems.com/council-offers
Of course there remains the option to take any excess garden waste for free to any of the Council’s eight Household Waste and Recycling Centres, all of which are open all year round, 7 days a week.
