Road Safety work - January 2025 summary
Here's what your local NPT Officers did to keep the local road network safe throughout January:
- 44 Tickets for obstructive parking
- 10 Warnings regarding speeding
- 9 Warnings in regard to manner of driving/parking
- 4 Vehicles seized for no insurance
- 3 Stolen vehicles recovered
- 3 People arrested for driving whilst unfit/OPL
- 2 Vehicles seized for driving with no license (and therefore no insurance)
- 2 Tickets for driving without a current MOT
- 1 Ticket issued for using a handheld device whilst driving
- 1 Ticket issued for contravention of mandatory arrow
- 1 Vehicle seized as abandoned
- 1 Ticket issued for no insurance
- 1 Court Summons issued due to high speed registered
