Please find below an update on the information I circulated previously about the start date of the Yorkshire Water works on Pool Bank New Road being postponed. The work will now begin on 27th January.

"As you may be aware , the Yorkshire Water sewer works on Pool Bank New Road were postponed earlier in the month due to the unexpected closure of Kex Gill in North Yorkshire. The signed diversion comes through the Leeds district and, in particular, along Pool Bank New Road.
We have been monitoring traffic flows since the closure was put into place and while we have noticed increased traffic during the morning and evening peaks, the flows during the day have remained fairly stable.
We have agreed that Yorkshire Water can begin the first phase of their sewer works on Pool Bank New Road on Monday 27th January.
These will be initially for CCTV investigations under 2 way lights between the hours of 0930 – 1530 for the first week
The scheme will likely start properly the following week with lights in place full time. We are hopeful that the Kex Gill works will have been completed by then – However, we will know more by the end of next week so I will keep you updated."
