More about Talking Transport sessions
We know that some places are harder or more expensive to get to than they should be. Travel information and fares are too complicated as well. We want to hear your travel experiences to help inform our decision-making.
Our new Talking Transport meetings are led by local Councillors who have responsibility for transport, in partnership with us (the West Yorkshire Combined Authority) and your local authority (Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds or Wakefield).
Meetings will take place twice a year, bringing together people who shape the way transport works in your area. You’ll get to hear what we’re doing to improve transport, locally and across West Yorkshire, and to ask questions and share your experiences. Operators of transport services in the area are also invited to join the meeting and answer any questions about their services.
Talking Transport meetings are not part of the Combined Authority’s formal governance processes; they are just one of several ways the Combined Authority and local authorities want to hear people’s views on Transport. Key discussion points will be shared with the Combined Authority’s Transport Committee to ensure people’s views and opinions are understood and considered.
West Yorkshire Talking Transport webinar
If you can’t join us in person, why not join our online meeting (webinar) on 19 February? You’ll get to hear updates on transport from across West Yorkshire, and raise any questions on local transport.
To attend the webinar, please register your interest by emailing [email protected] and we will send you further details of how to join.
Kind regards,
Consultation & Engagement Officer
