The latest Ward Crime update is below:
Notes:
- Theft Of Motor Vehicle (3) – 1 of the 3 offences involved a theft of plant machinery from a building site & the other 2 are cars stolen in Adel by unknown means.
- Burglary Business (1) – Theft of farming equipment, quad bike, power tools & animal supplies from a farm in Arthington, after breaking shutter doors on an outbuilding.
- Burglary Residential (9) – 3 of the 9 offences involved locks being cut off of garages on Holt Farm Close, using bolt-croppers or similar. The remaining 6 offences were targeting homes. The method of entry for these 6 were as follows: Lock Snap x3 (1 of which unsuccessful) unsecured door x1, domestic-related x1, rear window x1 (possibly insecure, unconfirmed). Based on this, I would suggest residents read the attached crime prevention advice sheets. The locations of the offences were spread out across the ward, with 2 in Holt Park, 2 in Bramhope & 2 in Adel.
