Please find below and attached information from Highways in respect of their proposal to reduce the speed limit on Leeds Road, Pool to 50mph for the length advised. This stretch is just past the end of Quarry Road towards Otley.
"I am writing to inform you that we are proposing to reduce the existing national speed limit to 50mph on A660 – Leeds Road. These proposals have been prepared to improve road safety and to align the road with the Setting Local Speed Limits guidance.
Details of the proposed scheme are provided on the attached plan 1796-LCC-00-XX-DR-TE-GA-01. The scheme comprises the installation of signage for the altered speed limit."
