I have been notified by the Network Engineer of an emergency road closure due to a burst water main on Weetwood Lane at its junction with Adel Lane:
"Weetwood Lane has been closed, one way, at its junction with Ring Road Adel to motorists travelling west bound and to motorists traveling towards Headingley from Adel Lane ( see closure plan marked with red X) so that Yorkshire Water can carry out repair works to a broken main.
Access remains available from the east bound approach on the Ring Road and traffic travelling from Headingley to the Ring Road is unaffected
It is expected that the road will remain closed until tomorrow afternoon"
