Road Safety work completed recently in North West Leeds
Here's what your local Policing Team have been doing to help keep the road network safe, in the past two weeks:
- We have recovered 4 stolen vehicles
- We have seized a vehicle for driving without insurance
- We have charged a driver with driving whilst over the prescribed limit of Alcohol
- 1 ticket issued for using a handheld device whilst driving
- 1 ticket issued for not wearing a seatbelt
- 1 ticket issued for driving without due care & attention
- 2 tickets issued for having no MOT
- 6 tickets issued for obstructing pavements/dropped kerbs
We've also carried out some speed-checks:
- Oxford Road, Guiseley (20 zone) - 1 ticket at 32mph
- Main Street, Pool (20 zone) - 3 tickets between 24 & 32mph
- Pool Bank New Road (30 zone) - 3 tickets between 47 & 63mph
- Victoria Road, Yeadon (40 zone) - 1 ticket at 59mph
- Otley Road, Adel (40 zone) - 1 ticket at 60mph
