Further to previous updates please find below the latest information I have received. If you can avoid the area I would suggest that you do so:
On Monday 29th July, Yorkshire Water will begin the next phase of their water quality improvement works on A660 Leeds road between the junction with Old Pool Bank and Quarry Road.
Traffic lights will be in place for the duration of the work and ,in the interest of safety, both junctions of Old Pool Bank will also be closed to all vehicles with a signed diversion in place.
This is traffic sensitive route, especially during the morning and evening peaks , so significant disruption should be expected.
With this is in mind, the teams will be working 7 days a week in an effort to get the work completed and lights removed as quickly as possible.
The current date for completion is expected to be 22nd September. I will keep you all informed should this change.
This is a continuation of the works are Yorkshire Water are currently undertaking in the area so residents are aware and advanced warning signs are in place.
