You will have noticed preparatory work starting in the field to the rear of Manor Crescent and Pool Road, in particular metal fencing being erected. Concern was expressed at the weekend about the fencing and about the hours of working. I took this up with Planning to ascertain what the Construction Management Plan stated and what the limits of the works are. Set out below is the response from Planning:
"We have not discharged the condition for the construction management plan along with other pre commencement conditions. We have advised Taylor Wimpey to not commence on site until the relevant conditions have been discharged or they could face enforcement action. [Planning] will visit this next week to establish what is going on."
