"Dear Councillor,
I am writing to make you aware and seek your views on a scheme proposal that is currently being prepared for Holt Crescent. The proposal has been prepared in response to requests for a crossing to be introduced at this location, to enable a safer route and support safe walking in the area.
Details of the proposed scheme are provided in the attached plan (1551-LCC-01-XX-DR-TM-01_01). The scheme comprises the introduction of a zebra crossing, removing the existing path on the south towards the ASDA car park and replacing this with a grass verge, as well as a new path connecting to the existing footway from the proposed crossing. The crossing will be located just east of the junction with Holt Farm Rise.
I would welcome your acknowledgement and comments with an indication of your views on the scheme proposal at your earliest convenience, preferably by the 19th June 2024, to allow these works to progress in a timely manner."
