I was asked last year whether it would be possible to install a pedestrian crossing on Kings Road, Bramhope and I took this up with the Highways Engineer. He has now assessed this and provided the response below:
"Dear Councillor Anderson,
Please see attached the Pedestrian Crossing Assessment for Kings Road, Bramhope.
I can confirm that the score of 3 gained does not qualify this location for intervention at this time. There are very low numbers of pedestrians crossing the road at this location and there is limited potential benefit to the local community through the implementation of any such scheme. As such, under our current pedestrian crossing criteria, we are unable to take forward any project at this time."
