In order to give you an alternative view to the current consultation exercise being undertaken by the West Yorkshire Combined Authority on the future of bus operations across West Yorkshire I am sending you this email from the bus operators. This should not be taken in any way as me endorsing their view, nor am I endorsing the bus franchising position being put forward by the Combined Authority.

Enhanced Partnership Plus - a quicker route to Bus Reform in West Yorkshire
Sent on behalf of West Yorkshire Operators of First Bus, Arriva and Transdev together with smaller and medium sized operators represented by the Confederation of Passenger Transport.
On behalf of West Yorkshire’s bus operators, we would like to introduce you to our Enhanced Partnership Plus proposal, which we are confident is the best way to deliver bus reform in West Yorkshire, and to achieve this quickly.
We are fully supportive of the Combined Authority’s objectives to transform bus services and we firmly believe that by entering into a new Enhanced Partnership, we can swiftly deliver the desired objectives while ensuring the best value for the public purse.
