I have received the following notice today:
"I am writing to inform you that Yorkshire Water are currently carrying out urgent repairs to a burst water main opposite Donkey Sanctuary on Weetwood Lane.
In order to carry out the works safely there is one-way closure of Weetwood Lane from the junction with Ring Road. The works are currently anticipated to continue until Friday 14th June. We understand this is long duration for such a busy road however due to electricity cable damages and requirement for further repairs Yorkshire Water are unable to remove the closure as early as we would expect it.
A diversion route is signed via Ring Road, Otley Rd and Glen Road.
Essential access to properties and emergency access will be maintained at all times.

Utility and Council communications teams are requested to distribute this information through their own communications channels.
Network Management and the Traffic Signals team will continue to monitor the situation and updates will be provided, as necessary."
