I have received the notification below from the Council's Highways Network Manager:
"I am writing to inform you that this weekend (22nd and 23rd May) A61 Harrogate Road will be closed for carriageway resurfacing between the Wigton Lane/Alwoodley Lane junction to the roundabout at the grammar school
The road will be closed from approx. 8am each day and will reopen each evening at approximately 16.00
A signed diversion will be in place via Ring Road Moortown/Shadwell – A58 Wetherby Road to Collingham – A659 Harewood Road to the Harewood House junction and vice versa
Advanced warning signs should be in place shortly and I will ask our Urban Traffic Control team to update the nearby electronic message signs to inform the wider traveling public."
