I have received information from Highways that the Council intends making an Order to temporarily close a footpath at Redesdale Gardens on 14/15 October. Further information is given in the legal Notice set out below:
The Council of the City of Leeds intends in no less than seven days to make the following Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
the LEEDS CITY COUNCIL (FOOTPATH BETWEEN REDESDALE GARDENS AND THE CRESCENT, ADEL) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024.
The Order will close to pedestrians the full length of the footpath that extends between its junctions with Redesdale Gardens and The Crescent. The diversion route for pedestrians will be via Rothbury Gardens, New Adel Lane, Otley Road, The Crescent and vice versa.
The closure is necessary to enable drainage works to be undertaken on or near the footpath.
The closure provided by this Order is anticipated to be in effect between 9am on 14 October 2024 and 9am on 15 October 2024, or between such times and until such day as the works to which this Order relates are complete (which in any event will be no later than 14 April 2025).
Copies of the proposed Order and the plan are available on request by emailing [email protected] . Please quote reference TC10095.
