A resident asked the following question today:
Is there any update about the SIDS that are due to be installed on Leeds Road in Bramhope, by Miller Homes? The reduction in the speed limit to 30mph does not appear to be being recognised by a large number of vehicles. I think I recall that the last update was that the location of the SIDS had been agreed so that they could be installed, but that was quite a while ago and there is still no sign of them. I would be grateful for an update if you have one.
I took this up with Highways and the update is below:
"Hello Councillor,
I can confirm that the orders have all been placed following payment from Miller Homes. Our street lighting contractor have these programmed for installation w/c 7th October.
I trust this is of use."
