Please find below an update on the highways work associated with the Taylor Wimpey development. I will update you when the Traffic Regulation Order is formally advertised:
"Good Morning,
I am writing to provide a further update on the S278 highway works linked to the Pool housing development.
Today, our contractor will be undertaking some road marking adjustments to ensure the junction is appropriately marked for road users whilst we await the completion of the Yorkshire Water (YW) works on Pool Bank.
In light of the recent road layout changes there is a safety need to protect visibility splays at the junction. You may already be aware of a delay to the formal Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) advertisement process due an upgrade to the council TRO advertisement and record systems. As such, a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) will be advertised to prevent parking in the immediate vicinity of the junction. Between now and the time at which the TTRO becomes enforceable, cones will be placed at the junction to prevent parking.
Please be assured, this temporary arrangement does not affect residents and stakeholders ability to comment on the main TRO once this is advertised.
Kind Regards,
Group Engineer
