Please find below updates in respect of the road closure on Old Pool Bank which I referred to in earlier emails which is due to the work being done by Yorkshire Water to upgrade the pipes in the area. In addition to the official notification at the bottom, I have received the following for residents trying to exit properties on Leeds Road overlooking the A660.
“Yorkshire Water have agreed to install a temporary traffic light system during the periods of work that require the junction to be closed. Simply - It means that traffic will be held on Leeds Road when a motorist wishes to exit the private access road. When the junction is open – normal service will resume.”
