Please find below an update from the Refuse Collection Service regarding missed collections today. Please leave bins out for recovery collection:
Good evening Councillor,
Due to a route failure, black bin collections were missed on several streets in your ward area- the failure was due to both high presentation, as the crew also returned to collect missed streets from yesterday’s route failure, and a vehicle breakdown. Please see the attached map, streets highlighted in pink were collected and all remaining marked collections are incomplete, for ease I have also listed the affected streets below. We will aim to recover these at the earliest opportunity and apologise for any inconvenience caused.
