Crime Prevention message - Building sites and homes under renovation
In the last few days & weeks, we have seen a few instances of break-ins at homes under renovation.
If you are currently having some work done on your house, please ensure that all tools are locked away (ideally taken away from the property at the end of each day) & if the property is unoccupied during the work, that no tools are kept there overnight.
Also consider the outside of the property. Things like skips & discarded packaging for building materials can advertise to criminals that there's likely to be tools nearby.
