Residents have been asking when the work to the trees on the Holtdales is going to be done. I have received the update below:
"Thank you for your enquiry.
We had intended to begin the works around the Holtdale Estate at the end of May/beginning of June. However, the unseasonably inclement weather recently has led to a higher than anticipated level of high priority and emergency works to be attended by our Forestry Operations section. We are working hard to clear the backlog of works.
Please be assured, we will do everything within our power to get the works within the Holtdale Estate completed as soon as possible however we must stick to Leeds City Council Tree Risk Management Guidelines (Council owned trees (leeds.gov.uk)) to ensure our resources are best utilised in maintaining citywide safety in relation to trees."
