As you are no doubt aware the brown bin collection service should be recommencing in March, however I have received the update below. Based on the number of residents who have contacted me to ask when the service will recommence I know this will be very disappointing and I agree this is not acceptable.
“Garden Waste (Brown Bin collections) 2024
This year’s collection cycle of Brown Bins will be pushed back by one collection to the first week of April 2024. This is to help respond to the current year’s budget overspend as well as supporting the implementation of the black and green bin route review. Changes have already been made to the schedules online and through the Leeds Bin App.”
